|Ashes to Ashes Dust to Dust

I just got back from heading up to bury my grandmother. Michigan was surprisingly cool and pleasant compared to home. We buried the ashes on my birthday.|
First day on the road, there was a softball tournament and some sort of midget car racing thing going on, so we ate a pizza and went down the road a half hour. Second day was nice enough despite the 70 mile an hour stretch on I - 95 (lovingly called the Road where Trucks go to Die by my father.)
Minister was this greying man (wearing the collar and a horridely uncomfortable looking polyester version of the standard shirt) who for some reason started the litany with "Earth to Earth," and then the rest - left me baffled for quite a while. Maybe it's some part of the Episcopal version. Dinner was bread, cheese and salami from some of the nifty stores eaten on the motel table.
And now, I'm home.
