Can't wait for the monsoons to start. House is staying at about 84ish during the day and down to 76ish at night with the temperatures (sans heat index) averaging around 90 in the shade and 110ish in the glare of the sun. Turns out I'm allergic to some little green gnat like bug, and I've now got a lovely welt on my left middle finger. This makes indicating the problem and whining a bit amusing.

I think I've got a pattern accepted by Mag Knits. I'm really excited about this.

I've got another order into Knit Picks for some yarn, and I'm working on something using Knit Picks Shimmer. It's an interesting yarn. The silk adds a lovely sheen and the yarn only has some mild hairyness from the alpaca. It rips quite nicely since I had to reknit a section of it a few times thanks to trying different needle sizes. If you don't like variagated yarn, beware of the fact that some of the colors look to have fairly strong color variations. For my pattern, it's not a problem, but I could see how it'd annoy people.

Tempted to go back through Idea no Hi and take screenshots of some of the more amusing enemies and boss encounters. I think I'll start that later.
